Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico in a family who was devoted to music. Growing up she was influenced by classical music, boleros and the classic romantic, ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana loves tangos, operas and other dramatic shows. Following her singing lessons with mom and sister, she began more intense singing lessons at the age of 16 under the tutelage of the renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. She performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a student and professional. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She currently performs traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. Her passion for performing, music, and the arts keep her engaged in local projects for both an artist as well as a instructor. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of traditional Latin American songs and hopes to inspire others to do the same.
